Drive-By Leslie is shaking up the NYC scene with thei unique brand of funk-jazz-dance music. Stellar keyboardist Adam Klipple brings together a group of phenomenal musicians who lay down serious grooves-music for your booty and your brain.

Groovula (pronounced like dracula) is a funky instrumental outfit helmed by Alphabet Soup co-founders, Dred Scott and Kenny Brooks. In San Francisco in the early 90s, Alphabet Soup basically invented hip-hop jazz, though there were others who gained much more fame and notoriety putting rappers together with live musicians. Since then, Kenny has been playing in Bob Weirs Ratdog and Dred has been living the life of a New York City freelance musician. The time to reunite has come. With the addition of Alphabet Soup alumni, Diego Voglino (drums) and local musicians, Scott Sharrard (guitar) and Ben Rubin (bass), Groovula plans to out funk and groove all the so-called jam bands. Once bitten, the audience will be in their spell.
